TCO23 [ ] Games

The TCO23 [ ] Games will be mini TCO tournaments during the year where you can qualify on [ ] technology outside of the usual TCO tracks.

OVERVIEW

The TCO23 [ ] Games will be mini TCO tournaments during the year where you can qualify on [ ] technology outside of the usual TCO tracks. This tournament will have its own leaderboard and at the end of the qualification stage, the top performers will be able to compete for the TCO23 [ ] Games Championship!

A nice chunk of prize money, ultimate bragging rights, and a trip to the TCO23 Finals as a special, VIP guest! TCO23 [ ] Games can be on any technology stack or challenge type and it all depends on what is the latest and greatest trend at Topcoder. They will be open to anyone at Topcoder.

TCO23 [ ] Games Competition

The first TCO23 [ ] Games qualification will start on October 1, 2022 and go through December 31, 2022. All you’ll have to do is participate in the challenges associated with the TCO23 [ ] Games technologies and you’ll earn points.

There will not be specific challenges for the TCO23 [ ] Games qualification period. The top point earners will have a chance to compete in the virtual championship round. We will keep track of those in the lead with a special leaderboard that will be available here on the TCO site.

TCO23 [Javascript] Games

Dates: October 1 - December 31, 2022
Grand Finale Competition: February 2023

We will have a Javascript Skill Builder Challenge starting September 1, 2022 to allow you to hone those skills before the Games begin! Starting October 1st, any challenge tagged with Javascript will count towards the leaderboard.

In February, our top competitors will compete in our grand finale competition (format to be announced soon) to be named the [Javascript] Games Champion!

TCO23 [ ] Games Details

TCO23 will feature two TCO23 [ ] Games Tournaments. The first one will enable point accumulation October 1 - December 31, 2022 with the grand finale competition finals in February of 2023. The second one will be qualification January 1 - March 31, 2023 with the championship round in June of 2023.

The grand finale competition finals will be hosted online as part of a TCO23 event.

The top 12 members will qualify for the finale competition, and there will be three prizes for each tournament:

1st Place: $500 and a trip to TCO23
2nd Place: $250
3th Place: $100

TCO23 [React] Games

Dates: January 1 - March 31, 2023
Grand Finale Competition: June 2023

Beginning January 1, 2023, any challenge with a React tag will count towards our [React] leaderboard! If you’re looking to learn more about React, try out our ReactJS Skill Builder and up your React game.
